Tasting notes
Chateau Cambon La Pelouse dates back to the 1700′s when it was founded by the Cambon family. Like numerous Bordeaux chateaux, the estate has had numerous owners over the centuries. During the 1800s, Château Cambon La Pelouse shared owners with Chateau Cantemerle, one of the most beautiful of any Chateaux in Medoc.
Winemaking
Traditional cultivation methods, Temperature controlled tanks, clarification and maceration before fermentation. The must is clarified; cold soak 4-6 days before fermentation. Three to four weeks in vats; 12 to 15 months on fine lees. Aged 12 months in French oak barrels (30% new , 20% one year old).
