Background
Chateau Siaurac has a long family history in the region. In fact, ownership of the property dates all the way back to 1832 for the Guichard family, more recently was owned by Chateau Latour until Chateau Calon Segur took it over in 2020. Chateau Siaurac could win an award for the most beautiful estate in the Lalande de Pomerol appellation, with its stunning chateau and manicured grounds, gardens, and parkland, which were designed in 1850.
Tasting notes
Black cherries, Cassis and spice. Full body and lengthy finish of the palate. Some pleasant tannin and acidity.
Winemaking
The vinification of Chateau Siaurac takes place in a combination of ceramic and stainless steel vats. The wine was aged in (25%) new French oak barrels for an average of 14 months before bottling.

Wild mushroom risotto, tagliatelle with creamy morel sauce, Grilled or roasted red meats and poultry.
