About the 2025 harvest The 2025 vintage is generous in fruit profile but marked by low yields, down by as much as a third in some vineyards. Early summer rains affected flowering and berry formation, while the rest of the summer was largely dry and warm. A couple of timely storms in late August helped complete ripening, ensuring balance and freshness in the grapes. As a result, the 2025 Beaujolais Nouveau is ripe, elegant, and fruit-forward, comparable in quality to the highly regarded 2020 and 2023 vintages. Georges Duboeuf himself describes it as “a lovely Beaujolais, packed with fruit” — a wine that fully expresses the charm of Gamay.
