Background
Chateau Baulos Charmes Pessac-Léognan Located between two classified graves of Graves, Château Baulos-Charmes owes its name to its owners in 1792, the Baulos family, a Bordeaux wine merchant. Sean Matthys-Meynard, passionate viticulturist, works according to traditional Bordeaux methods respecting his environment. All his efforts are made in the vineyard to obtain beautiful grapes at perfect maturity that will give fine wines, harmonious and full of life.
Tasting notes
Cherries, Cassis, touches of leather and tobacco. Hint of vanilla. Velvety tannins.
Winemaking
Traditional wine making process, fermented using indigenous yeast followed by aging for 12 months in 25% new oak barrels.
Food pairings
Roast pigeon, preferably served with a thick, rich red wine jus and confit onions.
