Background

Touraine-Oisly was created to showcase Sauvignon Blanc from the finest sites of the Touraine region and promote genuine excellence. From an outstanding producer like Lionel Gosseaume, the results are spectacular – the wine has superb intensity and concentration, and less sharpness than Sancerre or Pouilly-Fumé.

Tasting notes

Beautifully fresh with complex aromas of spring flowers, fresh mint, capsicum and pea pod. A rounded texture and vibrant acidity.

Winemaking

Fermented in stainless steel tanks. No oak ageing.

Food pairings

Lightly cooked shellfish like oysters and shell-on prawns, fresh crab and simply grilled fish such as sea bass.
