Background

Lionel Gosseaume is a wine maker who has lured back to his birthplace after following a different path for many years. His vineyards jostle for position alongside the chateaux in the region. 5400 gets its name from the distance of the vineyard furthest from the winery, 5400 metres away. The Touraine appellation created in 1939, is a prime location for sauvignon blanc where it expresses its elegance.

Fermented in stainless steel tanks. No oak ageing.
