Background

Louis Jadot, is a wine label that has been making exemplary French Burgundy wines ever since 1859. The idea of starting this company happened during 1826 when the Jadot family acquired small & individual lots of area in Beaune Premier Cru Clos des Ursules. The grapes that are grown massively in the family vineyards are Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. Some of the most important Burgundy vineyards where grapes for Louis Jadot wines are grown are Chapelle-Chambertin, Le Musigny, Clos de Vougeot and Echezeaux.

Intense aromas of ripe red and black berries with spices and some notes of leather and tobacco. Silky tannins and very soft texture on the palate.

The Louis Jadot Volnay 1er Cru Santenots is a beautifully balanced and elegant wine with notes of cherries, raspberries, and wild berries. The vineyard is located in the heart of the Cote de Beaune region, known for producing some of the finest Pinot Noir wines in the world. This wine is made from the highest quality grapes, hand-picked and then aged in French oak barrels for 12 to 18 months to allow for optimal depth and complexity.
