The Taittinger family has managed the Champagne House for nearly a century. Pierre Emmanuel Taittinger has embodied this commitment for 40 years, and today he shares it with his son, Clovis and his daughter, Vitalie who both work beside him in the day to day running of the Champagne House. Together, they create a very close-knit and complementary family trio.
A rigorous selection of the best Grands Crus of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir from only the first press, then a 5-year maturation in the cellar make this champagne a model of harmony between tension and aromatic power. The prelude, a perfect balance supported by 50% Pinot Noir and 50% Chardonnay, is the ideal vintage of a rare happiness to share.
Prelude is a cuvée made exclusively from a selection from a few Grands Crus-classified villages in champagne.
