You don't need to have taken Level 1 to participate. 
12 students maximum.

Course highlights:

  • Wine-making process: Get an overview of how wine is produced
  • Influencing factors: Learn what factors influence the style of a wine.
  • Grape varieties: Understand the characteristics of key white and black grape varieties.
  • Wine-producing regions: Study the significant wine-producing regions worldwide.
  • Wine varieties: Gain insights into sparkling, sweet, and fortified wines.
  • Labelling terms: Get acquainted with key terms found on wine labels.
  • Food and wine pairing: Learn the fundamentals of complementing wines with food.

Assessment:

50 multiple choice question examination.

Successful candidates will be awarded a WSET certificate and a lapel pin.
